Paperworld Middle East Postponed: Reviewing Stationery Sourcing and Shipping Plans
Messe Frankfurt Middle East announced on 9 September that Paperworld Middle East will move from October 2026 to 28–30 September 2027. Stationery suppliers and buyers should review meetings, samples and shipping plans.

On 9 September 2026, Messe Frankfurt Middle East announced that Paperworld Middle East, originally scheduled for 13–15 October 2026, will instead take place on 28–30 September 2027 at Dubai World Trade Centre.[1]
The organiser cited production lead-time constraints and freight and logistics challenges following discussions with the industry.[1] This is a change to the exhibition calendar, not in itself a measure of global stationery demand.
For stationery exporters, we recommend reviewing customer meetings, sample deliveries and travel arrangements rather than continuing to use the old dates. Sourcing discussions planned around the show can move to online product demonstrations, digital catalogues and sample reviews. Existing orders should remain subject to agreed contracts and delivery schedules, not automatically move with the exhibition.
For buyers of PP display books, sheet protectors, folders and document bags, we recommend confirming dimensions, thickness, colours, packaging and customisation requirements early. Quotations should distinguish sampling, production and transport lead times, with the target arrival date agreed separately to reduce misunderstandings when plans change.
